Unlock Business Productivity with the Top Chrome Extension for Tab Management

For many professionals and businesses, Google Chrome serves as a daily workhorse. With an increasing reliance on browser -based applications, proper tab management can significantly boost your business productivity . One of the best chrome extensions designed to help organize daily tasks and manage your online workspace is a software app called Cluster - a window and tab manager extension for Chrome. Cluster is highly-rated, earning an aggregate rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on user reviews.

Understanding Cluster: The Premier Chrome Tab Manager

Cluster is a top extension that helps manage multiple open tabs and windows while using minimal system resources . Its efficient design and user-friendly interface have made it popular among users aiming to organize their daily life in the digital space.

Beyond tab management, Cluster also doubles as a tab project manager, allowing you to save and restore windows and tab sessions as working projects. The restored windows launch each tab in a suspended state to minimize the load time when opening lots of tabs at once, a beneficial feature for those managing a busy daily schedule.

Beneficial Features for Daily Organization

Cluster is equipped with a myriad of features tailored to enhance your browser organization. These include the ability to undo removed tabs or windows, sorting windows tabs for a better overview, and the option to save and restore sessions from the manager or a drop-down menu. You can easily move tabs between windows, suspend all windows tabs, and even see the real tab URL when using the Great Suspender.

Cluster is fast, simple, and resource-efficient, ensuring it doesn’t impede your system’s performance. It's an excellent tool for controlling your browser sessions, keeping things organized, and freeing up memory. For users who work across multiple machines, Cluster offers the ability to sync your saved windows, making it an indispensable tool for your business productivity.

User Reviews and Feedback

User reviews for Cluster have been largely positive, with many users praising its robust functionality. Oliver Conroy describes it as "the best and most robust Chrome window/tab manager I've tried." Similarly, Jonathan Brooks commends its "excellent functionality and performance."

However, the chrome extension is not without its critics. User 'autoteleology', for instance, warns that the extension erased all their data during an attempted merge of their tab collection. User 'Ling Mao' also mentioned the lack of a 'mid-click close tab feature.'

Despite these concerns, the overwhelming consensus among users is that Cluster is a powerful tool for managing Chrome tabs and windows, significantly enhancing daily organization and business productivity.

Conclusion

Whether you're organizing daily tasks, managing a heavy web workload or boosting business productivity, Cluster is a Chrome extension worth considering. With its high rating and positive reviews, it’s clear that this tool adds substantial value to its users' online experience. It's time to take control of your digital workspace and unlock the benefits of effective tab management with Cluster.

Very good and effective. Save memory. I have often over 150 tabs, this is perfect for my ADHD brain.

I have been using it for months and liked it. I was very handy when the Edge browser would close an open window and I could retrieve it. Something changed today and I was unable to do that so I decided to try their "save window" feature. When I re-opened a saved window, every tab says it's suspended, meaning I have to refresh each page. One star rating because I got a message when I got to this page that it won't be supported much longer.

pretty damn good

This is perfect except one thing: is there no way to save all open windows at once? If there is, I can't figure it out.

Amir Uval

the best tab organizer for me! And I tried quite a few. I hope google won't remove it from the store

Who is looking for an alternative, I'm moving to TabXpert, it's MV3 compatible and has import from this extension.

Dean

You can save Windows with tabs under them, but there does not seem to be a way to open multiple saved windows at once.

This is by far the best Tab Manager available for Chrome and the main reason why I have stayed with Chrome for the past years. With Google/Chrome moving to make various extensions obsolete, such as Cluster - Window & Tab Manager, uMatrix, etc., I hope that the developers consider to port their extension to Firefox. There is absolutely NO decent tab manager available for Firefox that comes close anywhere to Cluster WM. I think that Cluster WM for Firefox would be a hit. I would even be happy to pay for a license - if reasonably priced - and I am sure other users would do so as well.

I have tried almost every tab manager extension including Acid Tabs, Tabli, Onetab, Clutter Free, Tab Session Manager. For my use case none of them come close to the capability and user experience of Cluster Window Manager. Key advantages of this app are 1. Clean, at a glance view of all tabs that, with column view, makes use of horizontal screen real estate instead of just a vertical scroll. 2. Easy multi-select and select-all, with batch tasks such as moving tabs between windows, deleting tabs, detecting duplicate tabs. 3. Bulk merge window option It would be great if it supported tab groups. You can still have tab groups, but the extension does nothing to show them or help manage them, Some other tab managers can do that, however even without that feature I find this easier to user. I really hope the developer can make the necessary updates to support this extension and follow the chrome best practices. I would pay for this extension but the buy license option is broken on the website.

This extension works well but has a serious flaw. If enabled, it opens tabs to the right of the last tab opened. I don't want that and there is no way to turn that off. I end up disabling the extension most of the time as a result.

Paul-Sebastian Manole

This is one of the highest quality extensions I have ever used! It's so good, it should come with the browser itself!

monkeymanwasd123

not to sound like a bot but this is genuinely one of the best extensions. if only it could sort bookmarks too so i didnt have to open all of them at once so this could sort them. my computer dies when i do that...

Rocky Boyo

Very good, thout would love to be able to name windows or somehow read the already named windows via the inherent chrome window naming system. Otherwise perfect.

Hannah Belle Cucci

Tried to send email to support but it wasnt delivered. Outlook said the email address didnt exist. I had a few feature requests!!!

Overlok IceCrown

very nice, only flaw, you should be able to move the saved cards in order to put the groups in the preferred order

std::endian

all good...

Alex Chaldyshev

would love for the icon to have a total tab count. moved over from a much worse extension with somewhat similar features and do miss that

COW KING (THE COW KING)

all good, except the merge window is way too small

F. Emre

I use it since some years and I am really happy with Cluster. Top-service in its field. Thank you!

Nesim Sisa

Easy to list all the browser tabs, put them to sleep to save resources, and filter and search tabs.

Paradox

Honestly, I havent had a day when I did not use it. Quick sort, remove duplicates, save/load windows, search windows, search tabs, sort tabs etc Not perfect, but the five stars matter in this case, as there are no better options.

kevin freels

This was going somewhere unique then just sputtered out. I'm rather disappointed and I come back about once every 6 months to see if it's beein brought back to life. Author, if you want to sell so that someone else can take over, send me an email.

Nick Earl

A LOT of potential. Full of bugs unfortunately. Looks like an abandoned project. Dev correct me if I'm wrong please, and I'll improve my rating...

Rick Clark

This extension is amazing! I've used it for a few months now and it has become something that I use daily. Any time I get a ton of tabs going, Ctrl + M lets me quickly close unused tabs, combine windows and drag them to reorder into logical groupings. I was using another extension that promised similar functionality and it just didn't work well. I started looking for another and this one exceeded my expectations. It's clean and functional and easy to use.

Sohail Chauhan

Extremely helpful for people like me who have tonns and tonss of tabs open in the single window. Useful for multi window management as well.

Todd McNeil

Does what it says on the box. I have found it indispensable in my professional life for keeping track of where and what I am meant to be doing.

Christian Walde (Mithaldu)

unmaintained and broken
